Learning Support Services: H5P Workshop for Faculty

Provided H5P instruction for faculty creating open source textbooks using Pressbooks. Taught them how to create/upload H5P interactive elements into their texts.

Learning Support Services: Pressbooks Spring 2017 User Group Kickoff

Co-Presented with Steel Wagstaff UW-Madison's Pressbooks Year in Review for 2015, provided an overview of what users could do with Pressbooks and H5P to create open educational resources like textbooks and courses, and talked about what is in development for Pressbooks at UW-Madison in the future. 

Learning Support Services: Intro to Pressbooks and H5P Workshop for Pressbooks User Group

Created a workshop to teach the Pressbooks User Group how to use the Pressbooks Interface, and how to create interactive elements using H5P. 

Instruction

ESL 117 - Academic Writing I - Instructor
Taught two, two part sessions for ESL 117 students. The first session focused on finding background information using CQ Researcher and Opposing Viewpoints, evaluating sources for relevancy. and getting help from a librarian. The second session focused on building on those skills to find scholarly sources in library databases.

Counseling Psychology 125 - Wisconsin Experience Seminar - Co-Instructor

Taught a ten-minute source evaluation segment, assisted students with individual research questions.
